Our checkout and commercial infrastructure are powered by Shopify and select Merchants of Record, which enable us to provide secure payment processing and digital report delivery to you.

  • Financial Information: Including payment card information, transaction details, and payment confirmations. (Note: Full credit card numbers are securely handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors; Lernowa AI Labs Private Limited does not store your raw payment details on our servers).

  • Device & Usage Information: Information about your device, browser type, IP address, and how you navigate our web portal.

  • Communications: Information you include when sending customer support inquiries or communicating with our team.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We process your personal data under the principles of purpose limitation and lawful basis. Depending on which of the Services you use, we may use personal information for the following specific purposes:

  • Provide, Tailor, and Improve the Services: To perform our contract with you, process payments, evaluate diagnostic exams, generate customized Premium Diagnostic Reports, and maintain your account.

  • Diagnostic & AI Processing: Your exam inputs are evaluated using deterministic logic and proprietary Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAG) to map knowledge gaps and provide automated Socratic feedback.

  • Security and Fraud Prevention: To authenticate your account, provide a secure payment experience, and protect our infrastructure from automated scraping, unauthorized access, or malicious activity.

  • Communicating with You: To provide customer support, deliver transaction receipts, and maintain our business relationship with you.

  • Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable Indian and international laws, respond to valid legal processes, or enforce our Terms of Service.

3. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. We may disclose your personal information to authorized third parties strictly for legitimate operational purposes. Such circumstances include:

4. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY & PAYMENT PROCESSORS

Our checkout and store management features are hosted by Shopify and authorized Merchant of Record (MoR) partners. Information you submit for purchases will be transmitted to and shared with these partners to securely finalize your transaction. 5. CHILDREN'S DATA & PARENTAL CONSENT

Our diagnostic services are designed for high school students preparing for AP and STEM exams, but our accounts and purchases must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

In strict compliance with applicable privacy laws (including the DPDP Act and COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 18 without verifiable parental consent. Processing of student assessment data is strictly limited to providing the educational diagnostic service. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your minor child has provided us with unauthorized personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately to request its deletion.

6. SECURITY AND DATA RETENTION

We implement robust, enterprise-grade security measures (including encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your data. However, no digital transmission is entirely secure. We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, maintain your account, and comply with tax, legal, and accounting obligations. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
